My Bio

I hope you are enjoying my website. I am William Earnhardt, a fifth generation SDA, and am currently working as the Bible Instructor at the Tampa First SDA church http://TampaAdventist.net in Florida.

I was born in Tulsa Oklahoma back in 1965. Some of the schools I attended are Springdale Elementary School, Will Rogers High School and Tulsa Junior College. I was baptized when I was seven years old, which was really a no-brainer seeing how I always knew since I was four that I would be preaching the gospel one day.

In 1987 I was the youngest elder in the Oklahoma Adventist Conference. In 1990 I became a Literature Evangelist, which was one of the most rewarding and fun jobs I have ever had. I lead the Oklahoma Conference in sales as I drove all over the place, sharing the gospel on the printed page. In 1993 I became a Bible worker for the Owasso SDA Church, near Tulsa. As well as Bible studies, I preached all over Oklahoma, having preached in over thirty of the fifty some churches in Oklahoma.

Later in 1993 I moved to Fort Worth Texas where I served as a Bible Instructor/Lay Pastor. In my ten years in Texas I served the Breckenridge, Fort Worth Northwest, Garland, Granbury and Mineral Wells SDA Churches. I served many of these churches together at the same time. I also worked for UPS as a part-time supervisor.

In 2004 I moved to Tampa where I have been the Bible Instructor/Lay Pastor ever since. I love my Tampa First Church family. People often ask me what a Bible Instructor does. At Tampa First I teach a New Believers Sabbath School Class. I also teach two study groups on Wednesdays. I also lead out in two small study groups. I am the director of the Discover Bible School, both through mail and on the Internet. I give personal as well as group Bible studies, organize and lead out in evangelistic seminars. I take turns preaching at Tampa First as well as our neighbor Adventist churches. I also do chapels and Bible studies at our church school, TAA. Those are just a few of my main activities and duties here at Tampa First. I love it here at Tampa First because the leadership here allows me to be creative and pursue my passion for evangelism.

PERSONAL STATISTICS:

Born William Dewayne Earnhardt on October 30, 1965 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

I graduated High School in 1984 and attended Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, TN as well as a couple community colleges.

I have never married, but am very family orientated. I love my parents, and sister and her family very much. I am not opposed to ever getting married, but one of the reasons I may have never married yet is because to be honest I have not really put any effort into it. I just love my life just the way it is and wish every day could be just like today.

I love to read and write, hence my website. I also love sports, hanging out at the beach or the Gulf. I enjoy kayaking and just being out on the water. I like to travel, and have been on a mission trip to Peru. Canada and Mexico are the only other countries I have been to outside the United States. I have just recently taken up golf.

I enjoy eating out and spending time with people. People are probably my number one pastime. I am not really into TV or movies all that much as I would rather visit with someone than watch something. I am not into things, I am into people, and I have more fun just visiting with people than any thing else.
